We are looking for someone to join our customer contact centre team at Care Link.

Job Description

At Care Link we support over 15,000 customers to enjoy independence in their own home through Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services. 

We provide a range of discreet sensors, home visiting and a 24 hour responder service, in a range of packages to suit your personal needs and budget.

What you’ll be doing as a Control Assistant (Call Handlers):

In this role, you will deliver responsive, high-quality services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, helping to enable our customers to live independently and safely in their home.

Day to day you will operate our computerised calls handling system, liaising with a range of WDH employees, Wakefield Council or other appropriate agencies to ensure an effective response to alarm calls and undertake administrative duties where necessary. 

We are looking for applicants who have:

  • the ability to record messages and information clearly and accurately;
  • experience of working with older or vulnerable people;
  • an understanding of the concept of Customer Care; and
  • good PC skills and telephone manner.

The post holder will be required to attend internal and external meetings both inside and outside office hours. As well as being required to work rotating shifts which include weekends and bank holidays.
