The PMO Manager is responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting on Data & AI Projects. This role will support the Data & AI Programme Manager to establish portfolio oversight over all Data & AI initiatives.

Job Description

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Define an overarching approach to projects and programmes tracking in a Data & AI domain
  • Develop portfolio approach integrate, assure and oversight all Data & AI programmes
  • Develop tracking and monitoring of Data & AI Projects
  • Develop integrated planning using planning software
  • Establish Intelligent PMO processes working with CPMO covering issues, risks, budgets, change control, dependencies, benefits, resource management
  • Establish technology led tracking and monitoring of Data & AI Projects including developing early warning signals 
  • Develop best in class Executive reporting of Data & AI initiatives

Skills, experience and characteristics:

  • Programme Management Office in the Data & AI discipline
  • Portfolio Oversight and Assurance of Data & AI projects
  • Reporting and Tracking of Data & AI Programmes
  • Data & AI Programmes of work utilising Agile methodology
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Proficiency in PMO Tools, Processes
  • Proficiency in planning software

There is a lot to do and we already undertaking several exciting Data & AI projects.  Our strategic approach is through three stages, building experience whilst delivering benefits:

Developing the foundations of our Data and AI function; getting value from the vastness of our current data; building a solid platform from which we can enhance our capabilities.
Developing Data, AI, Business Intelligence and Automaton products which can be embedded in the way we do business and work with our clients. 
Utilising Data and AI will become second nature across the firm and Data will truly be an asset and a competitive differentiator. There will be a data culture, with embedded AI literacy and utilisation across the firm.
